lol shiloh dont bring up the stroker kit, i dont want this thread getting shut down too!!

Most times though 2wd is pretty decent, its just the technical stuff like those washouts where you need 4.. you can deffinitely tell when a front tire grabs and starts pulling you out, without 4wd we wouldnt have gotten very far.. you can pick up those suzukis pretty cheap.. a buddy of mine is selling one right now for 5000$ cnd, lifted with 35s and he just rebuilt the motor.. I still think thats to high though, you can probably find a stock one for a couple thou max..

About the 35s joe thats a really good point you make.. I never thought about the room inside the wheel wells, ill just have to throw them on and be carefull the first time.. the backs will be fine, worst case scenario they will just spin on the inner fenders, but if i get caught in something like that and have to turn with the front tire tucked then i will be royally phucked!! thanks for the heads up there..

Yah dude I was like that too until the first time I banked my side of my box off a tree trunk last winter.. now I beat on it a bit more but I try at all costs to avoid body damage.. but hey its all metal, anything can be fixed.. I rolled the truck the first week I bought it in 08 lol.. wont happen again though..

I still want to find something strictly for offroading so I can flip it over and just put it back on its tires and keep going.. once I have some extra money to blow..

That's exactly what I'm thinkin, I like screwin around in my truck but with 2wd and not much lift I can't do what I want to and I don't wanna f**k it all up since it's my DD. Ya think you could achieve the same thing with say a Geo Tracker? There's a couple around town for sale.

I dunno about a tracker, I dont know whats in it for axles or suspension, theres probably a reason I never seen one on a trail before.. anything with a short wheelbase is good for tight chit.. Id sway more towards an old jeep or zuki.

I'm lookin at Zuki's on autotrader for less than 5k for the most part, but their all over 500 miles away! Maybe some day, the ones I have found have been garage kept and I can't bring myself to destroy someone's baby.

**** Shiloh, Id imagine you could find a decent 'Zuk for way less than $5g's. For that money, you could get an old Cherokee (YJ?), throw a decent lift on there, hack up the fenders, and throw some 35's on there. Well, maybe it'll be a little more than 5k, but not much. And those inline 4.0's are absolutely bulletproof. My bossman has an 89 cherokee with 260k, and a commanche with 240ishk, neither of them properly maintenced, AT ALL. They're not as small as other options, but parts are a dime a dozen.

We have one tracker around here lifted, not sure what all it entails, but it looks pretty sick. I'll try and snap a pic for ya. Id say it has at least 31's, everything Rhinolined on the outside, looks like a fun little ride...

Joe: I like how you said "Kids in the parking lot", lol. Gotta have a lil fun, right?

Thunder: '95 was the last year for the ol 5oh. Id say if you were gonna go the 302 route, stick with the foxbodys. I love the sn95 bodies, but foxes can be quite the sexiness
