OKay Joe just let me know. I am going to try and get them off the truck next week and start finishing up moving them over to HID's.

Will do. Oh jeez, gettin rid of the headlights too? How much....? LOL...also, do you know if they are DOT approved? Aftermarket headlights wont pass inspection unless they got the DOT approved thing stamped in them so just wondering.

I have no idea, I am getting rid of them Because long story short.

1. They are not HID approved headlights
2. I heard of people doing it anyways.
3. I thought what the hell
4. I went over the top with 55 watt HID instead of the normal 35 watt.
5. The combo of the projectors concentrating The light, the lenses being tinted (biggest thing), and the use of 55 over 35, I melted a hole in them.

So I am going to try to replace the outer lenses with the factory spare ones I have and see if that will work and sell them at that point. But that could be a year before I get that done lol.

I just got the sway bar off and wish I had air tools. I also got my center jump seat with lower storage installed so a decently productive hour afternoon break. Now I need to find someone with an air wrench.

Nah, although the DC1s are my personal favorite wheel, they were not out yet when I got my Mickey Classic IIs. Now if he had those wheels I'd start to worry.

Now if he was trying to be a poser, he'd put a stainless Warn Trans4mer on the front with a Warn winch. ANYBODY with that combination on a red QC 1500 and I'd have to seriously consider stalking charges...

Yeah, but he did say that he wont paint his bumper which does make one big difference between his truck and hammers, although i have to say, it is running a close second, next he will probably start talking about 4.56's chrome fender trim and a hood to match haha! He wont even tell us about the trans4mer and the winch lol, just one day he will post up some pics and we will all be like, hm... isn't that hammer's truck? haha!!
