I have an 2wd 04 ram 1500 with the CST leveling springs and the CST upper control arms. I'm just wandering if it would still be possible to use spacers to get another couple of inches out of the front or would i have to invest in some lift spindles?
I tried the spacers in my front springs and it hurts the handling of your truck in the corners, especially when it is wet (my truck slid in the front). The springs do not compress as they are designed to do. I put in a Daystar 2" leveling kit and replaced my shocks and she handles like a dream. I don't recommend the coil spacers just from experience.
the springs do pretty much exactly what a spacer would do, extend your spring a couple inches. you wouldnt stack spacers would you? your only option is the spindles.
keep in mind with spindles, that if you have factory 17's you are either gonna need wheel spacers, or some new wheels with 4.5" of backspacing or less.
