Do what i did in my last setup. Take out the 30% rear seat and build a huge box that looks factory and put 2 alpine type x subs in there. It will be way loud and crispy clear. I just had a prefab ported box with 2 type R's 12" and that thing bumped sooo hard it cracked my dash and made my back window flex seriously 2 inches back n forth.
mm sorry that ones pointless.......and yes op that one was all in the bed of the truck with a cut out....seen it done numerous times....with some fiberglass work or a double 12 under the middle compartment with some custom work something swet could be done....just gotta be inventive.....

The one under the middle seat, "Stealth Box", fires down, is unseen, unlike that crazy looking thing, and can be coverd with the factory upholstry. As far a performance..... by the looks of that box in the link, theres probably close to the same air space between the 2.
Plus, you got good taste MM, gotta admit that box looks kinda crazy don't it?

maybe i didnt read the original post completly? but i dont think he mentioned having an unseen or factory looking truck. to me the half MDF, half fiberglass looked like it had a good amount of airspace, close to what under the center seat/console would have.
