Sensless- I vote for painting them, if ya got the ***** to do it. If not, MMstar does it 'on the side'. I can't vouch for his work personally, cause I havent seen any, lol. But he does do it, fyi
Wade- The way it goes is you put'em in the oven for a few minutes (20?) so the glue will heat up, them you PRY them apart. But Ive heard too many bad stories/experiences, plus Im too chickensh!t anyways.

No **** sherlock..... The amber strip is irrelevant to the shape of the headlight.

They are. If i were to do it over again i would have bought projectors.
They're fiberglass and come in a gel-coat finish ready for prep/paint. You can get them on ebay.

Mine are vinyl, got 2 peices of red 5 yr vinyl from a local sign shop made a templet did them in the drive way $35 total cost better than waiting on them to get painted and have left over to get other little projects done

I wanna black out the head lights somehow since they are the only thing on my truck not black look at my sig and let me know cant decide. Either i buy compleye smoke headlight covers or put the eyelids on. i would by the darker headlights but i have strobes in the corners and the headlights so would take to long and dont wanna mess with them since i have them siliconed in.

Which is exactly why i said he can do what other guys with 02-05 have done. I was providing him a picture of an eyelid angle he might like. You bringing up the fact 06s have amber strips has nothing to do with my comment. The eyelids are the same 06-08.
