It is gunna look awesome. Dont worry about wearing stuff out. You just have a little buyer's remorse after spending all that money... The fabtecs were only really bad on the torsion bar setups (from what i've heard) so you should be fine. Your stuff is gunna wear out faster but it wont be too bad. And since you drive a lot of highway, i wouldnt worry about gears... As long as you dont plan on towing...
Unless you know what you're doing, pay a shop to do it...

And get us some dam pictures as soon as you get it on!! Dont leave us hangin!!!

Tranny will be fine. Maybe get a temp gauge just to be sure.

I typed this in all caps to see if it would stay...
EDIT: DAMN

it will be slower, but are you going for a race truck or a badass lifted truck? personally, i think you should see if you can change your order to 35's, that way they wont look as packed in the wheel wells and it will be easier on your drivetrain. 35's look perfect with a 6'' lift. but if you cant, the 37's will be fine

I worked on a 06 yesterday with a 6" and 37's and it looks damn good. It drove nice too. IIRC it had a fabtech lift on it. He put 2" blocks on the rear on top of the fabtech lift because the rear wasn't lifted enough with the 6" lift.

yea, in highway do you mean city or interstate?

35s with a level are FULL in the wheel well. 37s will look better with your lift i think (i like the full wheel well look) but its just alot more wear on the suspension.

Like i said, its going to look sick. As soon as I get the money Ill be doing the same lift, but I doubt Ill be doing the 37s because I do alot of city driving in my truck. Once the 37s get rolling your good but starting and stopping them...whew!
