Yeah, I have a feeling there is more to this story than we are getting. Any exhaust shop can do a dual exhaust. I can understand KRC not touching it, they are an engine performance shop & they only do the cat forward stuff in house and sub out the cats & cat back part to a local muffler shop. But any street corner Midas or Meineke will install a cat and/or do a dual exhaust.

 

FLA doesnt do emission tests do they? Or do they do it just in the heavier populated areas like Miami and such? If you look hard enough Im sure you can find a shop that will do it without the cats. I know one up here but thats a long ways from you.

 

yeah 'Weed, I know of shops in rural south Ga that will do true duals w/o cats or even puch cats if you throw a couple bucks at them.

 

No emission testa in Florida or in Miami.

Cool. We dont do them in GA (as a state) either but Atlanta does them because of the population

 

Emissions is done in the metro county area ( 17 counties i think)

 

Its against Fl law to modify the stock exhaust system (make it louder) any state officer can pull you over for it and ticket for it.
