Default HID help

ok i know about how dodge rams have problems with low-high beam hids and hid fogs. but i have projector headlights now and they are a different bulb which is h1 and i was curious if anyone knew if i could put a low beam kit on and have no problems. please let me know asap. also i dont have the factory foglight kit its another one dodge makes. dont know if that matters but i would appreciate if someone could help me.

I'm sure there's a thread on this somewhere. I'm sure it could be done, the question is, are the housings made for hids? I think people have had problems with this. It will probably work. I'd use the search function and see what people have said. Sorry I can't help more.

Style of bulb or headlamp makes zero difference. The flicker issue that everyone has is because the ecu. I'm not gonna go into it because there's lots of info out there.

You WILL get flicker with an HID H1 conversion kit. The fogs are NOT part of the ecu so they will not be of any issue. Youe WILL need a relay/harness or a couple of cancellors for the HID's. Ebay's got lots of cancellor kits. it conatains a capacitor to smooth out the signal.
I suggest a little more research before you purchase so you know what your up against.

For my projectors housing with the HID's also in the H1 size i had to make a small notch on the plastic of the bulb to make it fit in the housing.. Was fine after that and easy to do.
