Default Wheel size

Hey all. Im looking to get different wheels and tires on the truck. I have an 06 1500. I need to know what the minimum wheel diameter I can put on the truck without having to do any grinding to get it to fit. I was hoping for 15's just cause they are the cheapest on both wheels and tires. I have the 20's now but wanting to go with some sort of black wheel and adding a leveling kit. So if anybody can give me any input I would appreciate it.
Thanks
Aaron

Smallest diameter is a 17. 33/12.50/17's would look great. Make sure you get at least 4.5 or more offset and coil spacers in the front and your off to the races..... or should I say woods. 12.50 will rub at full turn on stock 17's

If you want 15s you need to get a small passenger car. Chit, my spare tire is bigger than that..........LOL

15s will not work, they will not clear the brakes. I tried, I had 15s with 35x12.50R15s from my old Jeep CJ in the garage and wanted to try them out, NO GO. 16s might with grinding. 17s will.
