Default "Air Ram" intake system...comments?

Hey guys, so dirty John gave me the airram website. I saw this-

http://airram.com/product.php?catego...1&productid=11

what are your thoughts on this. I feel like its a good design. Also, what do you think of the intake system that fits this? or should I just go with a regular K&N intake system?

Thanks again
Dan

You can run that scoop with any intake system that puts the filter over there.

08ramman has one on his truck and from what I've heard has only good things to say about it, also SMKN made a homemade one out of a sheet of metal.

I have one on my truck. It can help mileage I am told, but that's not why I bought it. It helps feed cold air into the intake. That's why I bought it. It also looks pretty neat. I have seen some folks paint theirs the body color of their truck. Those look sharp.
Just do not lean on it a 0*. I did that and broke a portion of it.

I am going to try one out prob. The SC can measure AIR INTAKE TEMP and I will do a before run and after run of data logging. Unless I get a Vararam. Then I wont. But I will sub to this thread incase I do. Nick at Airram is a good guy.
