check guages
2005 hemi quad.
when going downhilland coming to stop the "check guages" light will come on briefly then go out. no discernable shutter or stalling indicated. put in neutral and tried.... rpms stay solid but light will come on. thought fluid level, checked all, ok.
any help appreciated... bad fuel sensor? no code....

your check guages light will only come on if you have an abnormal gauge reading (i.e. high temp, low fuel, high voltage, etc.). The check engine light will come on for anything electrical or mechanically wrong with the computer system.
Next time you see the light come on, do a quick scan of the gauges and see if any of them are out of the ordinary.
