I just replaced the rotors and front pads on my 06 and noticed both front shocks were shot. Being under warranty I figured I could make the stealership replace them real quick... not quite. I was told that they were backordered for "up to 3 months, maybe more".

Ohh well, my $100.00 deductable isnt worth it, going for Bilstein for an extra 60 bucks.

 

That's your best bet. You're gonna get the same pieces of **** that went out on you. From what I hear Bilstein's are an excellent choice and you can't go wrong. They probably weren't on back order, they just didn't want to replace 'em and figured you'd do just what you're doing now.

 

Believe me, you are MUCH better off spending a lousy $60 and getting Bilsteins!!!
