Airaid TBS Getting the Carr Black steps and installing them then taking them off because it was WAY before I've even gotten the lift (Still in the works).

+1 on the HIDextra. I love them when they're working but a single random flicker either once to maybe 5 times in one drive or NOT even once at all for 10 drives. But when it does happen to flicker off and on it just so happens to be right as I'm behind someone

Going with Santa Ana's 4WheelParts to do my gear install. Having a friends mechanic come out to my house and diagnose it. Apparently when I took it back in for the 500 mi break in phase, they took it for a drive with me in it to show them the noise (not the bearing whine) and he told me it was the drive-shaft and that would go away once I got larger tires. (BS! I think they did a half a** job and didn't line everything up) And now I have suspicion to believe they didn't even change the oil ! Let alone I read that you have to mark the bolt that goes into the crush sleeve ? I think they just used air tools and may have sent it in too far.

Holy crap I can tell the gear install is my worst one (the install anyways once it's fixed it'll be crossed off the regret list).

Not really big, but I bought a a/c vent trim kit off e-bay. It was cheap and crapy looking threw it away.

Yep, I got caught on my very first Mod Buy as a Dodge FNG. A Helix TB Spacer (It is even useless as a paper weight and I am too honest to offer it to anyone) a big lesson learnt.

Its a good thing this thread was started cause I was considering an HIDextra kit. Deff not going to anymore!! For me it was deffinitely the leveling kit, I put it in and right away over every bump the struts would either over extend or over compress I dont know which but it was a clunk clunk over ever god damn speed bump. Then they started squeaking over every like ridge in the road and every bump so I sprayed white grease all over the bloody front suspension to find out where it was coming from, narrowed it down the the top of the strut that was going through the center of the leveling kit. I finally took it to a shop to find out what was wrong with it and they told me to buy limiting strap and replace my upper strut mounts so I buy strut mounts for 100$ expecting to replace them both but decided to just take the stupid leveling kit out.. As soon as they were out the clunks and squeaks were gone!! waste of my money now I have new upper strut mounts sitting in my toolbox. anyone wanna buy them??

I regret buying the big jar of SuperCharger, Octane boosters I found cheap on a Nigerian website specializing in speed secrets. All I can say is don’t and I repeat don’t take these on an empty stomach.

I haven't done much to this truck but on my 03 2500 I have to say the chrome Altezza taillights and the first LED light bar that came out at that time. The taillights seeped in moisture and were made cheaply IMO. I sold them to some idiot who was dying for them. The LED light bar had the same issue with moisture and corroded the wiring a bit starting fro the inside of the housing. I repaired the wiring and sealed up the housing a little better and never had a problem from the remaining time I had it. I think the new LED bars are made a little better now. The Altezza tallights... garbage. I would probably only go with Sonar or Recon LED tails for now on.

i hate my '3 stage cold air intake' thing sucks, came without any brackets and a box for the cone filter. i only like it cause it looks cool and it helped my gas mileage!

I have HID's and it only makes my radio static for a few seconds then goes away! same with my bf's truck! had to go to HID's cause the zenon bulbs were melting my sockets! replaced them at least 4-5 times!

but i think ive been thro at least 2 or more of my mods except for my tail lights! those have been good to me.

I haven't really regretted any mods. I guess the closest would be the Flowmaster 50HD muffler, gave a slight drone in the cab and really inhibited flow a bit. Was also swiss cheese on top when I removed it. Although I did keep it on over 4 years, so I guess it wasn't THAT terrible...
