yea I was thinking about doing the under the light thing, but theres nothing to mount to. I guess there also isnt under the grille. Getting them strait would be the hardest part

i found out that Audi uses Osram TOPled in their DRL. These are them, but there are quite a few different TOPleds

I agree with Matt and i LOVE the audi led lights and i was looking at aftermarket headlights and i didnt really see any that i like. im planning in eventually doing halos to my stock headlights and now im thinking of also adding the strips underneath to make it look similiar to the audi's. i went outside and measured the headlight with a tape ruler and if i bought 2 pairs of the strips from Animal Mother's post (2 strips per headlight) itll fit exactly like the photoshop image i did below. each strip is 9.5" long so 2 will be 19" and if you run it the way i did below you'll have about a half inch of play. if i did this id wire them to go in with the ignition and NOT the parking lights. that way they're always on when the tuck is on. if i still decide to do the halos id either wire them together or have the halos be the parking lights. what do ya think??

I did that a long time ago and its funny how his lights look like mine after I had a conversation with him about how i was going to do mine. I just try not to say anything about it because he is a vendor on that site.

Those are basically the halos i just put mine. there are 6 leds across the bottom that are bright as hell! i wasnt payin attention and left them on, knelt down in front of them to work on the bumper, looked up and was blinded for about 10 minutes. best thing is that on ebay i payd like 150 for them.

You buy them and some LSU baseball tickets for the game next wednesday night in shreve and ill come help ya install em. haha!

haha yea i will be going to that. for sure

Im not crazy about the aftermarket projectors. If i were to do that I would get weed to retrofit mine. They look better for your year model too.

Weed, did you like the running lights or not really? any pics on the truck?
