Default Antenna relocation?

has anyone shaved the antenna hole in the right fender and relocated their antenna? on my truck the mounting hole is kinda bent up and paint is starting to chip all around it. Im thinking of filling in the hole and having the fender repainted, then moving the antenna somewhere. Got any ideas or pics of this done?

I was just thinking about this earlier today. How about a electric antenna? I don't use my radio much so it would be cool just to have it slide out of sight. Sticking it in the door I would think the cable would be a problem but maybe sticking it under the dash or "frenched" into the side of the bed (old school). Going to have to give this some more thought.

good call the only reason I need mine is for the xm sure connect, so i was thinking of putting mine under the dash! the less it picks up the better!! that would look sick without a hole in that fender!!
