Has anyone installed the OEM 82208863AG Remote Start on their Ram? I have a 05 1500 5.7 and thought about buying this and installing if its alot easier than aftermarket.. Didnt know if this was halfway close to plug and play... Thanks, Gary

 

Do an online search for the .pdf that goes with that part number, you can look at the instructions and see how involved it is.

 

t is much much easier. We did one in my buddies 05 3500.
Took about an hour with two of us knowing kinda what were doing.

in comparison my starter alarm was about 2.5 hours

 

What is the difference between the Remote start one-way kit and the remote-start installation kit?? Do you need both??

 

Do you mind if I ask you where you're getting it and how much?? I found it online for $163.90. Don't know if you know anywhere cheaper. Plus, do you need the One-Way kit also?
