Default Trans rebuild

How difficult is it? I'd like to get to mine before it's done. Random weird shifts and occasional clunky shifts are getting more noticeable. It's an '07 Hemi quadcab. Any help would be appreciated.

Any good sources for parts?

Thanks

how sure are you that you NEED a rebuild? your problems could be coming from a number of different things. have you checked fluid level? changed fluid? changed filters? maybe you can take it to a dealership or tranny shop and get a quick learn flashed, or have the computer reflashed. maybe you solenoid pack is starting to go out. a lot of times a bad pcm can cause funky tranny problems.

a rebuild is going to be costly, and very tedious and labor intensive. more often than not, for the same price you can just get a new tranny.

just some some good ol preventive maintenance before you go and do a rebuild. you might be satisfied with the outcome.

Good suggestions. Fluid's good, changed at 60K, I think the quick learn is my next step, we'll see.
