Looking to get Steps , nerf bars or running boards for my Ram. Any suggestions to where
or what brand to Buy? They say things like T- 308 aircraft grade Steel 16 Guage with .065 thickness. I want Stainless but How do they hold up. A friend got Chrome and it rusted the first winter..

 

my vote goes to Nerf bars, never been a fan of the running boards. As far as Stainless or Chrome, never had either so cant say. Of course the stainless will hold up better but I have only had the black ones. Maybe someone else that has owned one or the other will chime in.

 

These are from N-Fab. Paid 375 for them back in June of 09 from 4wheel parts.com.

Thanks but Im not into Diamond plate...LOL Im headed towards Stainless but there are tons of websites selling them and i dont want to order something made out of Japans crap tubing that will rust in a month. They may say its stainless but its not a good quality. Autoanything.com has some good stuff .. Thanks for the input

 

Nerf Bars all the way! Maybe check around on craiglist and see if you can find some good shape used ones. Here in South Carolina somebody has a pair of nerfs for $100.
