Mine is an '05, Got rid of my chrome petals and went with the polished wheels from an '06. Just need to get a little bigger tires. Bought the rubber before I raised the truck. Plus I thought I was going to lower it, but decided to raise it a little.

I like black in the wheels but I think it clashes too much with the color of our trucks.
Also, if you leave your truck stock height, you want to make sure you dont get a wheel with too much backspacing or they might rub. These stock wheels are like a +19 or so.

I'm sorry but those wheels with those side runners just does not look right. Level that thing and slap on some nerfs or single steps and those will look a ton better and they will flow with the rest of the truck then. Not tryin to sound mean but I had running boards at one time and they were called "Grandpa Boards" by almost every member, if you leave those side runners pick out some different wheels or stick with the stockers.

thanks guys.. Yeah I know I hate the running boards myself...See the problem is that if I take them off I'll more then likely never hear the end of it b/c it was my grandma's truck before I bought. I do have plans on lifting it atleast leveling it for now. the other problem is taking the running boards off I'll have to take the flairs off and it just wouldn't look right to me

You could probably sell those side runners on ebay or craigslist and use the money to buy some fender flares if you really like the look. Just a thought.
