Need me some suggestions
You guys are awesome so was wondering if you could help me decide some things and share some of your expertise!
First off, I want to smoke my new taillights. I am hesitant however because last time I did nightshades, they came out a dull/ flat black that I was pretty unhappy with. I'm worried about trying it again with my new ones because I don't want to sand them and everything for them to turn out ****ty, thus leaving me scratched to hell lens'. I'm thinking about trying my luck with some film tint so if/ when I do screw it up, it can be taken off easily. I'd love to get them professionally done, but I'm a broke college student so I want to do it on the cheap. What do you guys think?
Second. Same question as before, but I want to do it with my headlights. I know film tint wont last too long with our super hot summers in AZ, but again, I'm worried about scuffing them up to use nightshades. Regarding the tint, I have 6000k hids, so what do you guys think would be a good % to do on them so I don't block out all of my light? Same question with the night shades....anyone have any experience doing it? I think about 2 coats would probably be the most I should do, right? For those who do have either covers or tint on them, any problems with Johnny Law, particularly you guys in AZ?
Last but not least, I'm currently running with no muffler. It's cut off right right around where the cab ends. My question is would it change the sound much if I were to weld on just a straight pipe with a big ol' tip on the end? Right now it sounds pretty good being deep and throaty. I just dont want it to sound like a ricer if I were to add about 4ish feet of straight pipe. Anyone have any experience with it?
Sorry for the long post. You guys are the best so I figured I'd pick you guys' (and those girls out there) brains for a bit to help me decide. As always, thanks for all the help!

I would do the tails and heads with the tint film. I too did my tails with nightshades and even with clear coat and wax still was a flat black look. i juust got go recon leds so there a bright shiny black but there like 300 new so to much but just use some tint on them. i would say 20% on tails and 20 % on heads. I have had black i mean black head light covers for my 07 ram and could still see with the covers. they make covers for your or. A matter of fact why dont you just get the headlight and tail light covers, there only like 50 a perice and look sick. There black and can easy take them off and on. Thats the route i would go with.
