A couple SHOCKing questions
Now that I’ve got your attention with that corny pun, I have a couple questions about shocks. I was looking at getting drop shackles for my truck, and was looking for new shocks also. I was looking at getting shorter shocks for the rear, which I can find, but I can’t find any matching shocks for the front. For example, Beltech makes a few different shocks for lowered trucks, but for the front, the only shocks they make are for 2WD trucks, they have no front shocks for 4WD trucks. Which leads to my first question, is it ok to use different shocks for front and rear (i.e. Beltech shocks on the rear, Bilstein shocks on the front)? And if not, can anyone point out a set of shocks to me for a 2006 Ram 1500 4WD, with a 2” rear drop, with the front suspension at stock height?
so to me it looks like your tyring to level it right?? well i just posted something a little earlier about if 2 inch drop shackles would level it out. one response that another guy gave me was get the shackles but also take out a leaf spring i believe. u can take a look at my thread i did and see some responses.
