Default Superchips Question

I am looking to purchase a Superchips, however, I see there is a Flashpaq tuner and the Cortex programmer; is the cortex superior to the flashpaq? Also, is anybody here looking to offload their superchip before I buy one new? Thank You.

The biggest difference between the two is, Cortex comes with a two year power train warranty. Tuning is the same for both units.

3865 (Flashpaq) or 3950 (Cortex) are the part numbers you're considering.

Yup, what Sil said. Also, the Cortex warranty is only for the original owner and non-transferable. Not sure if they are still planning on it, but the cortex was supposed to be able to work on mulitple vehicles in a future update, but that may just be a rumor.

Keep looking at the classifieds as people are always putting them up for sale. Just gotta wait for a good deal. I got my Cortex for $225 shipped from someone.

Really aching to buy a Superchips 3865 but I can't seem to find any of them that haven't been sold on this site or dodge talk.

If anyone here is selling their 3865 let me know, I am ready to buy today if it's the right price.

That isn't bad a local dealer can get it for me tomorrow for $330 so if I go new new that's kinda where I was leaning..but that's pretty good too.

I ordered a cortex off Cabela's because i had some gift cards to use up. they have the flashpaq for $300 and the cortex for $350. I got the cortex because i am thinking that i will let my dad try it out on his Dakota (he doesn't like the shifting) and and when i get a new truck, it will likely be a Dodge, so i figured it was worth the extra $50.
