Default Should I paint my exhaust before I install??

Well my new catback (MBRP cool duals) came in yesterday and I am wondering if I should clean evrything, then apply several layers of High Temp header paint to everything to prevent/delay rusting? Would this help, or is it more prone to rust from the inside out?

Sure, but wipe them with alcohol first to clean the paint. Also if you are welding them, then you will need to paint the welds immediately to prevent rust

^^Unperfected, How do you like the MBRP? Im hoping its not going to be too loud and that there is no cabin drone. I guess if it is I'll put some resonators on it.

Yes, I got the istaller series. I got it from http://www.autoanything.com/exhausts...0A2585392.aspx and I got 10% off for calling the order in. I will get some pics up as soon as I get it hooked up this weekend.

yes i like it alot is has a nice growl to it but if u close your windows you dont really notice it. would def recomend it if someone wants a nice sound but not to loud. I plan on buying one new eventually, but i would by the one thats supposed to be rust free.
