Just Purchased: 2002 Dodge Ram ...have questions
Hey,
Im new to the Dodge scene. I bought a 2002 dodge ram with the 4.7 in it and have a few questions.
What mileage can I expect? What can I do to improve (air intake, chip, etc?)
What size wheels/tires can I fit without a lift? Or with a leveling kit? (not looking to do a lift at this time)
Those are the only questions I have at this time. Thanks to anyone who takes the time to offer some help. Any other suggestions are welcome. Thanks again.

Really guys on here don't run with "chips" too often. They opt for the tuners. Mostly the superchips tuners, but some use the diablo programmers as well. Get a tuner, CAI, exhaust, and an e-fan to start, then you can look at rear end gears, etc.
Gas mileage suck any way you go IMO. Just make sure you change the plugs regularly and clean the throttle body to keep the gas mileage as good as you can. Also make sure you change you're oil and use a good quality oil since the 4.7's are sometimes prone to sludge buildup.
Tires depend on if you're 4by or 2wd. But there are plenty of threads on here discussing tire size and fitment, just do a search and you'll find enough reading to last you a lifetime.
