hi, i just bought an 07 qc 1500 with 58kmi on it. i love the hemi! i have noise coming from the alternator, sounds like bearings. is this common, and where can i get a rebuild kit for this? the local parts houses want $200 for a new unit, but i've replaced bearings on other alternators in the past. also, with the automatic, when should i service the trany? thanks!

 

I have never had mine make a noise, you can take the alt apart your self and check it, its not that bad to take apart I did mine to paint the case of it, Ebay has the best deals on take off alts, I would go ahead and service it now, that way you can keep track of the service interavals.

 

My book on the '07 says 60,000 for the tranny but I think most do it at 30,000 on these just for good measure and we treat them rough
