Default X Pipe

I am not digging the X Pipe i put on my truck. The airflow is to smooth and fast and when it comes out its not loud. I just dumped the exhaust before the rear axle and it changed the tone of my truck again. My truck has about a 4X deeper tone than a stock exhaust set up. Dont know what to do next.>.>.>

Need Advise.

Thinking about putting 3inch pipe from the mufflers out the back to see if that would make a better rumble sound.

I can tell you I just changed my entire system and it is much more deep and rumbly. Go find my exhaust thread.

Found your exhaust tread weed. And lsten to your sound clips. That sounds sweet. So weed since you did it that way. What size of pipe should i go back from my mufflers? I am out of funds for the momment but the muffler guy is helping me out for free.

I know it's not the sound you wanted RamIt33 but, a smooth and fast flow is exactly what you need in an exhaust from a performance point of view.
But as in all things in life, it's a compromise.
Fast truck with no rumble........nice rumble but slightly slower.
Lifes important decisions lol.

Because i am running true duals off my LTs, I am using 2.5" pipe from the front to the back.

Gotta agree... a nice smooth fast flow is what you are after. Change it to a 3" pipe from the mufflers back and see how that sounds. If you are after a more lopey idle then its time for a lopey cam. If you want to add a deeper tone, its time for some LT's. Mine sounds really nice with the LT's and 3" exhuast (Header Collectors are 3", cats were opened to 3", Y is a constant 3", muffler is a straight through design and is 3" SI/SO and dumped over the rear axle). Going to sound even better after I get my cam in.

Weeds is a mix though as far as sound goes as his has the LT headers, an Lopey Cam and Heads if I remeber correctly which will all change the note of the exhaust.
