someone help (cant remove headlights)

Default someone help (cant remove headlights)

i removed the 2 screws on the front of my headlight, and the one behind the grommet behind the wheel. I cant get these damn headlights out. Is there something im missing? Is it just the 3 screws? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

they have like a plastic clip that you need to press in order to get them out i am pretty sure the clips are in the same spot as that pain in the a$$ screw that you had to take near the fender. I took of a few screws from the wheel well to reach it from there. Mayor pain in the a$$!

I cant help with the 06-08 but mine has 3 screws and one pop in clip. take the 3 screws out and then pull real hard! PIA

There are clips at the top corner of the headlights behind the orange corner. The first 2 times I pulled them off they were really tough. Easiest thing to do without banging your knuckles was by using a long prybar. Pull on the light housing as your putting pressure behind it and it will pop right out. I slid a towel between the bottom of the headlight and the top of the painted bumper to keep from scratching.
The 06-08's have 2 bolts and one nut as you described. You cannot really see the clip. The housing has a metal ball that presses between plastic clips. That's why it's a tough pull.

I took a screw drive and just pried in between the light and the truck right by the top clip, and popped out easy.

Thanks for the help though guys!
