Oh yeah no problem I used duct tape, worked like a charm....j/k really At lowe's they have a three inch rubber coupling heat shielded with metal/not sure if it's s/s or aluminum. Cost like three bucks...slides over tb and over pcv comes withh two hose clamps real easy. The tone was both no drone also only after the cai was installed I could tell by listening when it cut too four cly mode ya gotta listen for it. though. The tubing is three inch and the filter is a spectre that fits 2.5 too 4inch od. They wave rubber inserts that cme out as the od gets bigger per application.

Oh yeah your gonna need an air breather for the oil fill tube that originally connects to the stock air filter You really don't wanna leave that open for long. Seems most threads about cai's forgot that little tid bit of info.

Haha, you know what works good. tell the wife something broke on the truck and you need to fix it real bad. I told her my intake came apart on the way to work so i made a custom one to save money haha.

good to know./ pic is in my album cuz i'm too retarded too post on thread for those who haven't seen it yet. really nothing special quite the same as most cai's I was gonna use 90 out of the tb. But found the 45 works better then the 90. the cone feeds right up to the orginal air intake port so there is a good supply of cool air. Btw. The 90 is used at that point.

Just an update ran the truck 40 miles in torrential downpours and wind blown rain. I checked the hood and air filter Yes dry as a bone now thats not too say humidity didn't get in there I may need that rain sock for more protection .
