I have a 02 quad cab slt with the infinity sound system and the amp is shot anybody knows where it is located so I can rip it out and rewire the whole thing without the amp.

 

First off, you could use the search. There are many threads about this. I'll give u a hint. It's behind the glove box, between the heater coil and the airbag.

If you are running the OEM Infinity HU then you have to have the amp. The reason for the amp is b/c the HU doesnt have a built-in amp like aftermarket decks do.

Mu suggestion is to buy an aftermarket HU and run new wires to the doors.

 

I do have an aftermarket head unit. Its just the whole left side speakers do not work and they are brand new kenwoods. Not only that the dash speaker on the left side has this constant ticking coming out of it.

 

AZ Dodge, wanna buy a kenwood 4 channel amp? Has high and low level inputs. I live in Maricopa, but work in West Phx. Lemme know.
