Default Condenser Fan Speed Control

06 Ram 5.7 Laramie

The condenser fan seems to be quite loud whenever I have the setting on anything that runs the a/c. It doesn't sound like the motor's going bad or something in the blades, it just sounds like the fan is at full speed. This is even right after starting up the truck, as in, the condenser and the 134 (or whatever's in there) is still cold.

Is there something that regulates the speed of the fan, or is it off/on only?

I don't remember it being this loud before I took it to the body shop, but I only had it for a month or so, and put on very few miles.

I think it's on or off, no variability. I don't pay much attention to mine.

hmm, that's interesting. I wouldn't pay too much attention to it either, but this is quite loud. I can hear it over the exhaust, and its got a fairly loud flo-pro.
