I have a 04 Ram 1500 hemi qc, and my problem is...

when i turn my truck off and the vent **** is on any setting it continues to blow air? If i turn the **** to off it stops blowing air, if i leave it on it drains my battery. has anyone experienced this same problem?

 

yea had the same thing happend on my 03. it was a bad ignition switch. it ended up burning the part of the harrness that plugs into it.

 

sweet thx! did you have any other problems that resulted from the harness being melted?

 

no i had to go to a junk yard and get the harness from under the dash and splice in the new plug.

 

Not sure if theres a relay on there, I assume there is. Swap out that relay really quick and see if it still kicks on. You could have a stuck relay.
