If it becomes a problem you can always powder coat it later. I like it,,,

I've been looking at getting the black bar for awhile now, but the rust issue has me concerned. If I spray on a coat of Duplicolor bed liner coating before install, would that help? I'm also going to spray my chrome bumpers with the same stuf.

yea, i'd say a bed liner coating will help protect it. another guy on the forum just had a thread about rhyno lining his

I just plan on waxing it and keeping up on it. As stated, i can always powdercoat it. Hell they even have chrome powder coat now

I like the stock lights, the only thing ive thought looks better is these oracle http://i468.photobucket.com/albums/r...CLEHaloKit.jpg kits...but thats pricey, not on the top of the list, and in the far future. Tinting the tail wasnt bad at all. VHT nightshades, a good clear coat, and a few hours was all it took.

Veddy nice. I def noticed the tails too. That's my cup 'o tea, just tinted enough to be noticeable by the trained eye...lol

As for the Bullbar...Stainless can still rust, but mostsly pitting/surface annoyance. T304 is high grade and likely will not cause any issue's. Grade T409 is like your exhaust and will get minor pitting here/there and start rusting.
Neverdull will clean up any pitting or staining going on. it's a wadding polish, BUT it will put light scrathes if your rubbing hard.

Keep it clean and you'll be fine. The painted one's as RH had I don't believe are stainless???
