Okay, so I just moved out to FL from CA and I found these sick rims for cheap...only downfall is they have chrome peeling...so I bought them thinking I'll just get them rechromed and call it good, but I call the shop and they say no one on the east coast chromes wheels...I find this hard to believe, anyone know of a chrome shop that will do my 18X8.5 wheels? I'm closest to 32780, but don't mind driving a bit! Thanks for any help

Check these guys out. They came up on google. The other thing you may be able to do is call a classic car restorer or a custom automotive shop and hit them up for some ideas. Sorry I couldn't help out more.

What the hell shop told you that? Next to the L.A. area in California, the Daytona area in Florida boasts the most chrome shops in the country!!! It's Harley heaven man!!!
Last time I was at bike week there must have been a dozen booths/tents from local chrome shops!
Call that huge Harley dealer on I95 in Daytona and I'm sure they can give you half a dozen places.
I know the places down where I used to live in Palm Bay. About an hour or so from you, whereas Daytona is what, 30 mins?
In Kissimee there is Exotic Chrome: 407-348-8400 and in Melbourne there is Space Coast Plating on Aurora Road: 321-254-2880.
There is also the shop in Orlando that did my ceramic coating on my headers, I think they do chrome plating as well. If you strike out with the two I gave you or the Harley dudes in Daytona, PM me and I'll try to find my receipt with the name and number of that place also.
oh yeah, and stay away from whoever you talked to in Titusville they don't know there a$$ from a hole in the ground...

Chroming is expensive so make sure they do it properly and not cut corners. It's like a 3 stage process and many try to cut the process short and then the chrome won't stick properly which is prob why they are peeling now.
Have you thought about powdercoating?

I have thought about powder coating but I already have black rims and I want chrome lol and hammer just made my day! I was so pissed when I heard that. But she more specifically said there were no chrome shops that do wheels...which I still feel is a crock. I'm no expert but she was talking about spinning the rims I'm the chrome and stuff? And also needing special rigs for each kind of rim...and that was the space coast plating in Melbourne that told me that...
