The stock hitch can not fit back there, but I have been thinking about welding a bar in behind the pan so I can have the looks of the pan but with a little added protection to the rear. Might do it next weekend if the weather is nice.
Yeah that would be the only concern for me about no hitch.
Looks great tho. Cleaned up the **** end of the truck a ton.
Yeah, I definitly like the look of it and I think that I can come up with something to weld up under there to add a little protection. Then I can have the looks of the pan with some of the protection I had with the hitch/bumper.
No, I wasn't angry when I was making my case about hitches. There is a difference about being passionate about a subject and being angry. To me, I couldn't fathom not wanting to maximize the potential of my truck. Yes, you can get A LOT of work done with just a bed, but the amount a truck can tow is infinitely more than its payload ability. Furthermore, sometimes you simply just need a hitch if you want to rent equipment or a trailer to perform a certain project. Certainly some people obviously don't envision ever doing a project that would entail needing more than their bed and that's fine; I was just stating my opinion, no harm there. Now, what is mean is trying to make a connection with the amount of mufflers I have had on my truck and the integrity of my input; there's no linearity there besides implying my comments are moot. Jusjay, that was a low shot, and I'm particularly disappointed hearing that come from you..
