yeah good point joe. they will always up sale, its their job. changing pads on our trucks takes all of 15 min a piece if that. diy and save some coin

 

no i havent checked them out myself but i will tomorrow. how do i know how long they have left?

also just deciding to get drilled and slotted rotors too

 

you should see a "wear indicator" on the pad. Its a metal peice that sticks out and when the pads wear down to a certain point, the metal thing drags on the rotors creating a squeal. when it squeals, its time to change the brakes. you should also be able to see how long before they start squealing

Now that you got this sensor taken care of, you should be ready to get cracking on that hood. I am waiting to see some test fit pics.
