the front bumper brackets actually bolt through the frame but I didnt feel like drilling holes so i welded them. same thing with the crush block under the bed. they are designed to be bolted in also using existing holes but welding was faster for me.

this is the ONLY kit on the market that is completely bolt-on.

Is that why you say this kit is better than the Performance lift? How long was the install?

Truck looks good by the way.

no, its better because of the front bumper brackets, and the fact you dont have to hack up for fan shroud. with this kit you put on much stronger brackets instead of hacking up the front bumper supports which take away all the strength in it. the fan shroud is dropped 3" and looks 10 times better, ( i plan on getting an E-fan eventually so that wont matter to me anyway).

in the last 3 months Ive installed a PA kit on an 03 and mine. the PA brackets are weak compared to these. 3 of us took 9 hours to install the PA kit on the 03. I did mine by myself in my driveway in a total of 7. I did the front half one afternoon and the rear the next morning.

there are a few things that i didnt do from the kit because I didnt need too. like the lower radiator hose extension. there was enough slack in it to be just fine.. the fuel vent extension and filler hose. they flexed enough to mount back up. the rear vibration dampener, the spare tire bar cleared the top just fine so i didnt need to flip it over. and the parkign brake cable extension, again, enough flex for it to be ok without have to disconnect that cable and install the raised bracket.

welp, I got free shipping as a February promo because Zone is a sponsor on another site and i worked a deal with them to make the install videos. normally the kit is 355 on there site.

i paid less for mine than you can find the PA kit for anywhere! but i would have still gotten it whether i got that deal or not. its that much better.

At the time i did mine i could only find the Performace lift and for 318 shipped I took it. It was a pain in the *** finding mods for my truck in 08 b/c it was brand new. I didnt want to wait so I settled.

yea, im really picky tho. if i cant find exactly what i want for my truck I look for another place, wait, or find a part that is close to what i what and modify it to my liking.
you got a sweet looking truck, I really liked that color. the orange, electric blue and brilliant black were my top 3 when i was looking for my truck.
