well ive been seeing lots of talk about the shaved antenna's and what not so i did a simple (very simple) mod to kind of hide my antenna. Im a big hunter and is the reason for many of the simple scratches on it well to add a little bit more of a hunting theme and i hide the antenna i took an arrow and pulled out the insert that holds the points at the bottom and slid it rite over the antenna. radio still gets great reception and it adds a little style. im sure mite think this is dumb but i thought it was pretty cool ill be sure to post and take pictures tommorow for those who may ask for them. if u do decide to do the mod be sure to use an aluminum arrow as they arent as skinny and slide rite over the antenna with out cutting the ball off
