Yeah forget discount tires they will never get my business.
My local independent tire shop is a family run shop, 2nd generation. They kill the big stores and internet prices on most tires. I like shopping local whenever I can. I have found many times the final cost is lower than buying internet and installing locally. When gettinng estimates i always ask for both prices, one for the complete job and the other for labor only. Doing custom work, I have found they often prefer that I bring in what I want and just have them install it. This insures I have what I want and lets them off the hook for getting it wrong.

Yeah this time i got the best price. Once the install was done he looked up how much it would have cost to buy everything from him and it came out to $860. I ended up getting everything for $810 so i saved $50 so im pretty happy.
O AND THESE TIRES LOOK BADASS I LOVE THE 305 it just looks so killer!

What's up with Dicount Tire in your areas anyway? I bought tires from Tirerack.com twice for the TA and truck, Discount charged me $14 ea. for balance & mounting. I'd laugh at them here if they quoted me $140 bucks too
