time to level...advice please
Hey guys,
Leaning towards the 2" HBS or autospring due to being a little short on cash.
But....the bilstein 5100's are pretty enticing.
Help me choose. Or any other suggestions.
Thanks

I dunno on this one matt99, we all know there shocks are oem nightmares !st chance i'd get is save up the dough get the stock ones out and go with the far better aftermarket. my reasoning is simple, you get the levling done and you have a strut(s) that will last more than 30k which i feel is rediculous, I need em but I can wait til my birthday lol./ probably have to give a little extra but it'll be worth it. I'm sure.
Rocket, you are right when it comes to the stock struts for the 4x4 guys. Obviously i haven't tried to find an aftermarket set, but I know the stock shocks/struts suck and are fairly expensive. If you have the money, the 5100s would defiantly be the way to go.
But most of us on here don't have the extra cash laying around for the high dollar mods (except around tax refund time). The spacer kit is a lot less hard on the wallet. You are killing two birds with one stone with the other way, but its a quick easy mod with this kit.
By the way, Rocket, are you 4x4 or 2wd?

I would stay away from the spacers, just because I had a spacer kit and had a bad shimmy. I am going to try the Bilsteins eventually......spacer kit....$80......Bilsteins with new shocks and they are adjustable!......$240
