what did you use for the padding? I think a good used tire would work well cut up. I hate that when people have things then back out. They may be too wide and I think that's his problem. If he could find some spacers he could run 'em. I don't think it's the top out he's worried about. Yeah, it's tight but I think it's rubbing his Upper control arm being so wide.

Hmm how wide is that? I know with a 12.5 in tire it would, but I didnt figure that would be so wide. I was thinking the motometals had a pretty good backspacing to them for some reason

A old tire would probably work, I just dont know how I would mount it? i used carpet/shop rags. Tore them like a razor. Im thinking with the angle of the two hitting, the UCA is actually ripping downward. I might try mounting something to the inside of the UCA instead

Yes Matt99, I am aware that I have a mega cab with 8 lugs on each wheel. I said that I might be interested because 07hemiboost stated in the 7th post on this thread that he bought these wheels in an 8 on 6.5 lug pattern, which is what my truck requires....unless everything I've read to date is incorrect.

Ohh I see what you mean. The OP did not know which they were so you wanted them if they were 8 lug

I hope the tire guy wasnt smart enough to give him an 8lug rim for his 1500 lol

Yeah, it sucks for him and I thought I might could help him out since I'm researching tires and wheels to buy. And, I want about that size tire in NTG's. Not overly fond of the MM 951's though, I like the XD Black Spy and XD Chrome Revolver wheels.

if they aren't the right bolt pattern you can refuse them. And get your money back.
