Exclamation Driving around with tonneau cover not latched!!

OK this is a rant and some Q. Today my wife and her dad had to move a bed and a chair a good distance(I had to work) this morning I rolled the cover back showing them how it works. I thought no big deal her dad knows how to use one. Well guess what I thought wrong after they unloaded everything they rolled the cover back over the bed never velcored it and never latched it WTF!!! I got home and saw this and asked her did you drive with the cover like that yup shure as **** they drove a good hour with the cover pretty much flaping in the the wind. I asked her didnt it not look right driving she said no. Her dad even hooked the tie down straps to the tonneau cover bed rail claps. I am not made her as she really has nol idea about this stuff im more pissed at her dad he is retarded he is lucky he had to go to cali for a delivery when he gats back he wont like talking to me very much. Now for the cover the rail the cover is on is as far back as it can go. the adjustment screws i turnd all the way in and the dont touch the rail. When I roll the cover back velcro and latchit its not tight at all. Is my cover that I put on 2 weeks ago!!! FCKD. It has a 2 year warrenty but it says if the owner ruens it in anyway the warrenty wont work it has to be a factory defect any advice and has any had this ever done? sorry for the long rant but god can't keep nothing nice and rule of thumb never let ur truck go were ur not!

Sorry brother, others just don't know how to take care of your truck the same way you do. It's your own fault for letting them take it.

I am not familar with that cover. Does it look like it will tighten back up? I have used a fiberglass cover for six years on mine and it looks and operates the same as when I bought it new. You know best, if it is trashed, replace it. Good luck...

mine has gotten all sorts of streched, too much stuff in general, edge of something sticking out..etc, always shrank back. maybe it'll be better tomorrow.
