Default Tow guard/dirt guard

Has anyone used one of these? Is one better then the other? With the 33's on the truck, and towing my wifes van from DC to Cali, I want to try to minimize the rock chips on her car.

I'm thinking about getting one, but I'm pretty sure it will look lame. Is it even that functional and if so, which one?

i've been thinking about this lately too... i tow a bass boat and a lot of the lakes here are down gravel roads. it has some sandblasting on it already (mostly from PO). i really dont like the look of any of those things you posted... especially the louvered one.. that thing is fugly!
my plan is to get some bigass semi mudflaps and somehow mount them to the rear bumper so they are removable, and then use a steel rod or something to make them rigid enough so they dont fly on the highway...
