Default SKYJACKER 6 INCH Removal?

ok so i have a 2003 2door 1500 now that has some miles on it and by the end of the year i plan on trading it in but on this truck and my nexxt truck i plan on lifting it

would it be stupid to put a 2000 dollar skyjacker lift on my truck now then take it off and put it on my next

does removal hurt the lift kit in anyway wear or tear

yes i plan on staying with 2002 - 2005 but im goin to up to 4 door and hemi

i might just be talking out of my *** but i think there are different lifts for 2 door and 4 door trucks. and if youre just going to trade this one in? why not wait on the lift and just put it on the new truck? or get the new truck now?

There is no problem doing that, just extra labor for a few months of enjoyment, but that is up to you!

I would not bother to lift the current one if you plan on trading it and would have to remove it and reinstall it on another truck. Thats too much work IMO

It's not an issue going from a reg cab IFS torsion bar front to a quad cab one, however if there is ANY chance of you getting a 2500, which is SFA, then you would be screwed. Wait till you get your next truck...

Just wait till you get a new truck. If you don't even know whether you're getting a 1500 or a 2500 it would be pointless to buy a lift now. Also lifted regular cabs don't look right.
