Here is what I am trying to do. I want to put some L.E.D.'s (red) in the front compartment of my 2004 QC under the dash right above where your feet rest that are activated and turned off by the interior lights. So when the door opens the L.E.D.'s will come off and when the door closes, the L.E.D.'s will shut off just like the interior lights do. So my question is this....does anyone know where the timer is located that controls the interior lights?

I already have the L.E.D.'s. I am just trying to figure out how to wire them up.
