Personally I have a quad and I am happy with it. I would be OK with a Mega cab to. It doesn't matter to much to me. I never sit in the back. LOL

 

Mega cab is like driving around a school bus or a box truck. Very long wheelbase.

Actually, i bet it's the same wheelbase as having an extended cab with an 8ft box? Those things are just way too long for city type driving. If your a country guy that hunts/fishes...etc with a group of guys regularly, then it's the truck to have.

I'm 6'3" and i can sit in the back of my Quadcab in comfort. Going from a reg cab to a mega cab is a huuuge jump. I went from a reg cab silverado to a quadcab Ram and what a difference. All the room I will possibly need. i think if you are good right now with a reg cab and just want some more room lie I did, then get yourself a Quadcab.
Also, Megacabs are built on a 2500 series frame, so they are a very heavy truck with reduced gas mileage. They have a solid front axle and they certainly aren't going to handle the same either.

 

nope rides like a truck should dogg , and i agree i bought mine for the purpose of taking buddies hunting ect . its not like driving a bus but it turns like a semi .
