Default Flairs

Hey guy as some of you know on my truck I have the running boards that most would call "grandpa" boards. So here is what I was wonder and my problem... If I remove the step I also have to remove the front fender flair since they are connected as one piece...

Now I don't really want the pocket flairs since I like the look of the flairs that are on it... I was thinking about when I do finally take them off would I be better off getting the Bushwacker extend a fender.. Oh and one other thing is that I like the fact I don't have to run a mud flap

any suggestions would be great

here is a pic of what I was thinking of getting..

I have those on my truck and love them. They were put on by the previous owner but the seem to be holding up rather well and keeps stuff from flying off the tire on to the truck. Now get rid of them grandpa boards.
