Disable DRLs (already searched, got nothing)
There is no need to have it changed to US Domestic - changing it to any market other than Canadian will allow DRL's to be disabled and retain KM on the odometer.
The whole world uses the Metric system, except for the USA.
The service manager at my local dealer indicates that by:
changing the local market to USA,
disabling the DRL's
then changing the local market back to CDN will also allow the DRL's to remain disabled.
I am interested in how this goes for you.

I had mu truck in for some brake and suspension work, and asked them to try to disable them - when I picked it up, they said they weren't able to do it.
The service manager was listening in, and gave it a go himself.
Now they are off.
And my truck is now a Yankee to boot.
- they changed the country code to USA, then selected "disable drl's". Odometer still increments in km (I checked, 1 minute to travel 2 km at 120 km/h).
cost me 30 bucks - on the work order. (He called it a "update")
the tech used a hand-held unit, looked like a fat handled fly-swatter with a display.
