'07 pcv??
I have an '07 Ram 1500 with the 3.7 V-6 and was curious if it has a PCV valve and, if so, where is it located? If so, it must be a 'dealer-only' part, as the general catalogues at AutoZone, Advance, etc., don't list such a part.
I've gone 70,000 miles without replacing the valve and, if there is such a critter, I probably need to!

Mopar parts sites list it as about $8.50 retail, it was on the oil fill tube on my 04. You just have to twist to unlock it, can't remember which way, then pull it out and disconnect any hoses going to it. Shake it an if it rattles it's probably still good, but for less then 10 bucks and 5 mins. time you might as well put a new one in.
I found it. On the back driver's side of the valve cover (thought to look at the emissions diagram on the underside of the hood....gee, I wonder why they put it there?). Now the dilemma...its even further back than the rear spark plug (which was a PITA to get to). It almost feels like it has a spring clamp on it. Don't want to just 'pull' on the rubber hose that is attached to it, but can't see the sucker well enough to know what I'm dealing with?
Is there anyone out there with an '07 or newer 3.7 V6? Apparently, Dodge relocated the PVC valve on this engine. 2006 and previous models had the valve located in the oil fill tube. But my '07 has a completely smooth filler tube.
I can follow the breather tuce from th airbox to the top, right rear of the manifold cover. There is a metal fitting, but I can't figure out how to turn it or remove it (and with the engine running, there is absolutely NO suction).
Just above this fitting, there is another tube that goes into a plastic fitting just behind the throttle body. This nipple has serious suction, but appears to be molded into the 'box' that holds the throttle body itself. Wouldn't think this to be the proper location.
