Default Does this mean the strut is bad?

So my right front strut is squeaking, so i just sprayed wd40 on the top and it stops for about a week, then the squeaking slowly comes back, spray a little more and it goes away again and comes back a week later.... Does this mean its bad or just where water is getting in it and drying it out? its a stock strut (never been changed), and the truck has 50k on it, replaced the let one because it busted about a two months ago

I'd pick up a pair of Bilstein or Rancho lift struts and get those spacers off there all at once. Rancho's are a little more money($355/pr), but give full 2.5". The Bilsteins($230/pr) give only 2" I believe.
Eitherway, one strut or 2, you'll need an alignment.

ohh, and mileage don't mean much if you go offroading much??? Bigger tires also tend whoop stock shocks quick. <--say that 3x's fast...lol

I dunno the stocks are shlt I gotta do mine cuz the ride blows. I did so many mods, all at once it seems. Gotta pace myself and enjoy the ride for a change. I have over 50 k on mine . M y question is why replace one when you know you have two struts?? the second one can't be far behind .......

I have a pair of low mileage struts I'll give you for the cost of shipping and a box.
