I hope someone can help me narrow this one down. I have a bad squeak coming from my left front. Started yesterday and is just gettin worse. It mostly happens when I turn to the left or go over bumps. I stuck my head under there while my wife turned the wheel but, I couldn't narrow it down it is way too loud with the engine runnin and all that stuff so close together. If you have any experience with this one please let me know what you figured out.

 

I am thinkin either ball joint or strut/shock, more than likely ball joint, raise ur front end and try to move the tire(grab top and bottom of tire) and see if there is any give

 

But in my experience if it squeaks when u turn the wheel, its more than likely lower ball joint

 

Yeah, I was thinking thats what it was but, I was hoping someone would give me some good news. Went on you tube and searched and a guy posted a video of a squeaking truck, that sounded just like mine, right before he did the ball joints.
